Privacy Policy

Who handles your information
Lex personally operates Gamersaurus Lex. Contact lex@gamersauruslex.com for privacy questions and requests. This policy covers the Gamersaurus Lex website and campaign services. Providers such as Stripe, Discord, Google, Forge, and StartPlaying also have their own privacy policies when you use their services.
Information we use
For booking and running a campaign, we use your contact information, campaign enrollment, reserved seats, payer relationships, session attendance, billing records, and messages you send us. When you connect Discord, we use the identity needed to associate you with your booking and campaign access. Gamersaurus Lex does not store your card number; Stripe handles card storage and payment processing.
Why we use it
We use campaign and booking information to confirm seats, coordinate sessions, provide campaign access, prepare and run games, process authorized payments, respond to questions, handle attendance and billing problems, and maintain appropriate business records.
If you join a waitlist, we use the contact information you provide to send seat-availability offers and manage your place in line. Joining a waitlist does not authorize unrelated marketing messages.
Who receives it
Information needed to provide the service is shared with the providers actually involved in hosting, authentication, payments, communication, email delivery, and game delivery. These providers include Stripe, Discord, Google, Resend, Foundry VTT, Forge VTT, and Hetzner hosting. Fellow players can see information you share in campaign channels and during play.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We disclose information only for the purposes described in this policy.
We may provide information where required by law or reasonably needed to address fraud, security, or safety issues.
Keeping and deleting information
We maintain your information as necessary to run the business and satisfy legal regulations.
Leaving a campaign stops active participation and future billing, but does not automatically erase past billing or campaign records. Former players may retain Discord community access. Tell Lex if you want help leaving the server or requesting removal of personal information; third-party account deletion is handled by the provider concerned.
Recording and sharing
Lex may record Discord session audio and video for the purpose of creating session recaps and providing the campaign website players can access to refresh their recollections of what happened in the campaign. When you join a game, you consent to these recordings.
Lex does not share these recordings with any third party without your prior approval, except as necessary to manage the business. If Lex wants to share all or part of a recording—for example, as part of marketing the service—he will explicitly seek your prior approval.
The requirement for separate approval before publishing Discord recordings does not apply to VTT screenshots or footage without player audio or webcam video. Lex may record or screenshot game footage from the VTT without player audio or webcam video, including character names and VTT chat messages, for marketing or any other purpose. Entering information into the VTT gives Lex consent to use that information.
Your choices and requests
Contact lex@gamersauruslex.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information held by Gamersaurus Lex.
You may manage your Discord, Google, Stripe, or Forge account settings through those providers. Disconnecting from Discord is not the same as leaving a paid campaign; follow the booking departure process or contact Lex to stop enrollment.
Adults and security
Gamersaurus Lex games are for adults 18 and older.
Policy changes
We will identify material changes with an updated effective date.
